This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs your use of the Provendorwebsite and free search (the “Service”) and of any lead list or market report you purchase (“Purchased Data”), operated by Daros Systems, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“Daros,” “we”). It supplements and is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service. In the event of a conflict, the Terms of Service prevail.
By using the Service or Purchased Data you agree not to engage in the conduct described below and to ensure your employees, contractors, and anyone else you allow to use them comply with this AUP. We may update this AUP from time to time; material changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
1. No illegal or infringing use
You must not use the Service to:
- violate any applicable law, regulation, sanctions regime, or the rights of any third party;
- infringe any patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret, or other intellectual property right;
- upload, transmit, or store content that is defamatory, obscene, harassing, threatening, or otherwise unlawful;
- conduct business with parties on U.S. OFAC, UN, EU, or UK sanctions lists, or in embargoed jurisdictions;
- facilitate money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, or other financial crime.
2. Lawful outreach with Purchased Data
Purchased Data contains contact details of third-party businesses compiled from publicly available sources. You are responsible for using it lawfully. You must not use Purchased Data to:
- send unsolicited commercial communications in violation of CAN-SPAM, CASL, PECR, GDPR, or any other applicable marketing-communications or anti-spam law;
- contact businesses or individuals who have opted out, unsubscribed, or asked not to be contacted, or otherwise ignore applicable suppression requirements;
- harass, threaten, demean, or retaliate against any business or individual;
- send misleading or deceptive communications, impersonate another person or organization, or falsify headers or sender identity;
- make credit, employment, insurance, tenancy, or other eligibility decisions about individuals.
3. No harm to the Service or its users
You must not:
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or any related system except under a written authorization from Daros (see our security contact below);
- introduce malware, ransomware, worms, trojans, or other malicious code;
- interfere with, disrupt, or degrade the Service, including by overloading, flooding, or conducting denial-of-service attacks;
- bypass, disable, or otherwise circumvent rate limits, authentication, authorization, encryption, or other security or access controls;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or data;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service, or use the Service to build a competing product or to benchmark for a competing product without our prior written consent;
- use scripts, bots, or other automated means to run searches at scale, evade rate limits, or otherwise abuse the free search.
4. No misuse of Purchased Data
You must not:
- resell, license, publish, or otherwise make a lead list or report available to any third party as a standalone dataset, or incorporate it into a product or database offered to others;
- combine, enrich, or repackage Purchased Data to reconstitute or resell it as a contact database;
- use Purchased Data to harass, defraud, or deceive any business or individual;
- use Purchased Data in any way that violates the rights of the businesses or individuals it describes or that is otherwise unlawful.
5. Responsible use of AI features
AI features provide assistive outputs and may be incorrect, incomplete, or out-of-date. You must not:
- rely on AI outputs as legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice;
- use AI features to produce content that violates this AUP or applicable law;
- attempt to extract system prompts, model weights, training data, or other non-public information from the underlying models;
- circumvent safety mitigations or intentionally induce harmful, discriminatory, or deceptive outputs.
The market report is informational only. You remain responsible for reviewing and verifying its contents — including contact details and market figures — before relying on them for any decision or outreach.
6. Payment integrity
- Use a valid payment method that you are authorized to use.
- Do not submit fraudulent payments, initiate bad-faith chargebacks, or otherwise abuse checkout or the refund process.
- Keep the tokenized link to your order page confidential; you are responsible for how it is used and shared.
7. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations of this AUP. Depending on severity, we may apply one or more of the following measures:
- Warning: written notice describing the conduct and required remediation.
- Throttling or restriction: temporary limits on, or blocking of, the free search or checkout.
- Suspension: temporary suspension of your access pending investigation, or disabling an order page.
- Termination: termination of your access and rights under our Terms of Service.
- Legal action: referral to law enforcement and pursuit of civil remedies where warranted.
For severe violations — including active security incidents, ongoing spam campaigns, fraud, or conduct that puts other users at risk — we may act immediately without prior notice. Where we act with notice, we will give you a reasonable opportunity to remediate before escalating.
8. Reporting abuse
If you believe someone is violating this AUP — for example, using Purchased Data to spam you, abusing the free search, or impersonating another organization — please report it to Legal@daros.ai. Include the sender's email, any message headers, and a description of the issue so we can investigate. If you are a listed business and want your information removed, email the same address with your business details.
Security vulnerabilities should be reported to Legal@daros.ai. We appreciate coordinated disclosure and will work in good faith with researchers acting responsibly.
9. Changes
We may update this AUP to address new risks, features, or legal requirements. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
